Student Feedback

We strive to create a community where co-curricular experiences strengthen and broaden student learning inside and outside of the classroom.

I am very thankful that I was able to be in the Physical and Sport Education MEd program at USU. The professors were knowledgeable, and their curriculum has directly translated into my career. I also received excellent guidance from my advisor. After graduating from Utah State I was immediately hired as a varsity basketball coach. Two years later I have now been offered an Athletic Director position at a prestigious charter school in Atlanta, GA. Having the tools I learned at USU, I feel thoroughly prepared to perform the tasks asked of me in this new position. I have also been able to grow my basketball training business. Receiving this masters degree on top of being a former professional basketball player has really given me the credibility and confidence needed to excel in a career that I enjoy.

Keenan Palmore

I felt supported and valued in my educational journey in the MEd PSED program at Utah State University by professors and my mentor, Dr. Kras, by having opportunities presented to me to teach and serve that solidified my goal for working towards professorship. Because of my involvement in my classes and teaching fellowship during my study in the MEd PSED program I have been accepted as a PhD candidate, approved for publishable research opportunities, and am able to continue towards my goals of becoming a professor.
