Master the Science of Providing for Yourself and Others
The master's in family and consumer sciences education and extension covers family studies, housing, textiles and clothing, nutrition and food sciences, and management of personal resources. The program places emphasis on teaching and curriculum development, as well as extension.
The faculty teaching and running this program have real-world experience in their respective fields, offering perspectives you can't find in a textbook. They are dedicated to the field and work closely with students, even over the internet, to ensure they are qualified and ready for their future careers.
Some of the major topics and courses covered are psychological statistics, research methods, adult education, principles and practices of extension educaiton, and more. Whatever you decide on for a career, you will have a solid base when you graduate to land the job you want.
